My books: available online, in bookstores, and in libraries.
Where you can buy my books
They're available online:
There also very often in stores, but if you don't find one, your local bookstore is happy to order a copy for you.
You can also find them or request them at your local library.
And, uh, er, none of these books are available as free downloads. If you find one on a site somewhere, please know that it has been pirated. No one who worked on the book has been paid for it (and lots of people work on books).
Paying for books means authors and publishers can make more good books, which is what we all really want (besides having enough money to pay for them).
Coming in Fall, 2016: Love, Santa
Based on a letter I wrote my daughter that's since had more than 700,000 Pinterest pins and more than 2 million likes on Facebook, this book tells the truth about Santa without destroying the magic of the season. Lee White will illustrate. Arthur A. Levine at Scholastic is my editor.

Coming May 1, 2015: The Game of Love and Death
‘Someday, everyone you love will die. Everything you love will crumble to ruin. This is the price of life. This is the price of love. It is the only ending for every true story.’
Henry Bishop and Flora Saudade are a pair of young musicians living in 1937 Seattle, where the Great Depression still hangs heavy, and where a mistake or bout of bad luck can mean ruin. They fall in love without having any idea they are pawns in a game being played by the shape-shifting immortals, Love and Death.
